Fall '23 Event - Brunch at Marina Jack

Please join us at Marina Jack's upstairs in their private event room.

       2 Marina Plaza, Sarasota, FL

for the Welcome Back Luncheon on

       Tuesday, November 7, 2023 - 11:30am to 1:30pm

Admission which includes our meal is $40 per person.

Lunch selections will include Chicken Caprese, Grilled Salmon, or a Veggie Plate.

All lunch selections will include:

       Coffee and tea
       Dinner rolls with butter
       Chef's choice of potato or rice
       Vegetable du jour
       Chef's selection of Dessert

Valet parking is available for $1 plus tip

Important: Please RSVP to the email you will receive after you register to make your lunch selection and be sure to bring a copy of that email for admission.

Historic Spanish Pointe

Join us for a guided tour and lecture on the history of this thirty acre museum and environmental complex. This unique preserve showcases native Florida plants, and the Palmer legacy.

Wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Lunch is included. Please indicate your choice by responding to the email you will receive after you register.

We will meet at the entrance at 10:30 am.

401 North Tamiami Trail,
Osprey, Florida.

Cost is $40 per person, lunch included.

Spanish Pointe. Jennifer is a passionate leader and looks forward to updating Garden Club members.

LBK Estuary Projects - Lecture, lunch, and tour

Meet at Town Center parking behind Publix to board Trolley.

The water that surrounds LBK is our unique asset. How is the Bay doing, what can we contribute to its health?

Experience the Sarasota Bay Estuary Association and a tour of multiple sites along Longboat Key with our guides Dave Tomasko, Jay Leverone and Meghan Barry. A chance to learn about the community, the shorelines, opportunities and the future our area.

Open Air Trolley will make the tour a pleasant morning including a stop for lunch at one of our Parks!

Some walking, wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen. If you choose to stay on the trolley that is also fine. We promise this will be an interesting trip to experience LBK.

$55 pp which includes lunch, transportation aboard the trolley, and light snacks.

Join Dr. Michael Crosby, Motes President and CEO as he shares the latest on Mote's new Science Education Aquarium(SEA) and the revitalization of its current research facility on City Island.

Plan to be inspired and wanting to learn more.

Tour of Historic Cortez Maritime and Cultural Museums

Join us for a special guided tour of the Maritime Museum, the Cultural Center and the Village of Cortez.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from the historians of this area, and see the collections.

Walking involved, wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen. Water, snacks and lunch included.

$40 pp including admission, lunch, and light snack

Presenting the Sarasota Bay Estuary Association with Dave Tomasko

The Sarasota Bay Estuary Association makes grants, does monitoring and research, and is active across the Key. Come hear about their work and grant programs and efforts to stabilize the environmental threats on our Key.

Sarasota Honey Company Tour and Tasting

Meet at 10am the Sarasota Honey Bee Company - 2227 University Parkway, Sarasota

Have you wanted to learn more about bees, and honey in Florida, tastes, and serving ideas? Join Aliana Johnson, the founder and owner of the Sarasota Honey Bee Company.

Optional lunch after the 12pm tasting at the Honey Tree Cafe nearby.

Please RSVP by replying to the email you'll receive after you register to indicate if you plan to join us for lunch.

Ticks, Safe Hiking and Gardening, and key contacts across Florida

It's a tough topic but prevention is the key to safety when hiking and gardening. Come learn about ticks in our environment, and the tips for safety with our pets, and families.
