Join us at the Windward Bay Clubhouse for a “ Holiday Wreath Making Class,” taught by Susan Hamel.
Susan Hamel is a newer member of LBK Garden Club. She’s recently retired and, while residing in CT, will be spending winters in FL. She is a member of Stamford Garden Club, Greenwich Botanic Center, Garden Conservancy and NY Botanical Garden. She enjoys all aspects of floral design and gardening.
Materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring items to decorate with if you have a special theme.
Cost is $20 pp which includes materials.

 | LBK Estuary Projects - Lecture, lunch, and tour
Meet at Town Center parking behind Publix to board Trolley.
The water that surrounds LBK is our unique asset. How is the Bay doing, what can we contribute to its health? Experience the Sarasota Bay Estuary Association and a tour of multiple sites along Longboat Key with our guides Dave Tomasko, Jay Leverone and Meghan Barry. A chance to learn about the community, the shorelines, opportunities and the future our area.
Open Air Trolley will make the tour a pleasant morning including a stop for lunch at one of our Parks!
Some walking, wear comfortable shoes, a hat and sunscreen. If you choose to stay on the trolley that is also fine. We promise this will be an interesting trip to experience LBK.
$55 pp which includes lunch, transportation aboard the trolley, and light snacks.

Join Tina Anderson, chef, teacher, creative mind behind great ideas for a culinary journey for cooking in Florida! Members who attended her class last year left excited, packed with ideas to make the year more interesting using native herbs, edible flowers and produce from area farms.
A series of three classes will be held in the garden behind Driftwood Boutique in the Whitney Plaza.
Choose one class or take the series by registering for each of the three classes separately. Those taking the series will receive a special gift.
Choose morning or afternoon, 10;30 to 12:30pm or 4:00-6:00pm. After you register, you will receive an email asking you to indicate your preferred time slot.
NO MATERIALS NEEDED
The Garden Club will maintain an herb and edible flower garden used for classes!
Cost: $65 PP per class
