Join the Longboat Key Garden Club in a guided tour of Historic Spanish Point
This 30 acre old Florida site was the early home of the Webb family and later, that of Bertha Palmer. Her gardens, house and Chapel speak to the history of this area and include native Florida plants and trees, mangroves, a butterfly garden and spectacular views of the bay.
Monday, March 27th, 10:30 am.
Meet at the admission entrance at Spanish Point
337 N. Tamiami Trail, Osprey
Admission, Guided Tour and boxed lunch included.
Afternoon free to explore!
$40.00 per person
Deadline to register, March 19th.
Once registered, you will receive an email asking about your lunch entree selection. Please be sure to respond by the morning of March 19th.
Bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen and a hat.
About 1 mile of walking on the tour.

|Freedom Fest and Butterfly Release (Bay Isles Road)|
A traditional July 4th parade, and festivities along Bay Isles Road. Immediately following the parade, join us in the Bicentennial Park Butterfly Garden as we hand out 100 butterflies to kids for the release into the garden. Kids and family-favorite activity at this patriotic event. Followed by childrens’ games, breakfast, and more fun.
